Mile High Rowing Club offers year-round programs. Click on the season below to learn more.
Our Winter Indoor Season will take place at the Lake House at the Cherry Creek State Park Marina. Dates are November 27, 2017 to February 15, 2018.
November 27-February 15 at the Lake House. $350 for the season.
4 practices a week.
Effective January 11, 2018 all groups will have practice from 4:30-5:45 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Afternoon practices will be Monday through Thursday. Optional practices from December 21 to January 2 will be held in the mornings.
Meeting for Parents and Rowers will be on Monday October 30th. You will be able to sign up for your groups once you are paid. 20 rowers per group. Priority for the Spring Season will be given to those who are either doing a school sport such as swimming or participating in our Indoor Program.
Mile High will be hosting the 2018 Denver Indoor Rowing Championships, February 2 & 3 at the CACM. Click here to register for this event only if you are not enrolled in the Winter Program. Those registered in the Winter Program will be entered in races by the coaching staff.
Spring Season will begin Monday, March 5, 2018.
Potential Colorado/Kansas/Utah Race in April.
The team will compete at Central Youths in Oklahoma City, OK, on May 5-6. For those who qualify, Youth Nationals, the event is being held June 8-10 at Lake Natoma, CA.
Row the Rockies are May 19th at Cherry Creek Reservoir. Hosted by RMRC.

Two-Week Camp: June 4-17
This two-week camp at Cherry Creek State Park Marina runs Monday, June 4 through Friday, June 8, and Monday, June 11 through Saturday, June 16. Boat unloading will be Monday, June 18 at 8 a.m. at Cherry Creek Reservoir. Attendance at the all-day Boulder Sprints regatta on June 16 is mandatory if you register for this camp.
Required paperwork must be completed prior to attendance and fees must be paid prior to the start of camp. This two-week camp is limited to the first 20 paid registrants. The cost, which includes one state park pass, is $550. CAMP FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Rowers must be available to attend every day of the camp. Late arrivals are not allowed.
One-Week Camps: June 25-29, July 9-13, July 16-20, July 23-27, August 6-10
Rowers who are not able to attend our two-week camp may sign up for a one-week camp, but may not sign up for multiple one-week camps. These sessions will run from 8-10 a.m. at the Cherry Creek State Park Marina. Required paperwork must be completed prior to attendance and fees must be paid prior to the start of camp. The cost, which includes one state park pass, is $300. CAMP FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Rowers must be available to attend every day of the camp. Late arrivals are not allowed.
Requirements for all camps:
- Rowers and coxswains must be at least 13 years old by the start of camp.
- Rowers (not coxswains) must be able to carry a minimum of 25 lbs. over their heads (divided weight of an eight boat by the number of rowers).
- Rowers must be at least 100 pounds, and 5'3" for the female team and 5'5" for the male team-this is for the safety of the rower.
- Rowers and coxswains must be able to swim and tread water for at least 10 minutes.
- Coxswains (the one who steers the boat) should be under 120 pounds for boys and under 110 for girls.
Camp attendance does not mean automatic placement on the fall team. Tryouts will be required for the 2018 fall team.
