FRIDAY, Feb 3rd: 30 min, 1 hour, ½ marathon, and full marathon

 

SATURDAY, Feb 4th: 500m, 1,000m Team Challenge, 2,000m, and Youth races

Come challenge your teammates, friends and yourself to an indoor rowing race on Concept II Rowing Machines.

Traditional races are 2,000m; however there are team, sprints and longer-distances. For more information, visit the Concept II rowing website.

 

 

WIN AN ERG …. THE TEAM CHALLENGE

  • Teams of 4 rowers
  • Minimum of 2 females per team will race a total of 1,000m
  • Fastest time, as age handicapped using the US Rowing Age Handicap Guide
  • wins the Rowing Machine!
  • $50 entry fee per team
  • All 4 rowers race simultaneously; each one does a 1k. 

 

 

In addition, the fastest* 2,000m person, male or female will be flown to the 2012 World Indoor Rowing Championships in Boston  courtesy of the Mile High Rowing Club *Fastest time will be determined based on percentage in relation to the Denver Altitude adjusted qualifying times as set by Concept II.

qualified crews for the 3rd year

in a row to go compete

at Youth Nationals!

The Women's Pair

(Kendall Chase/Alana Bobka) and

the Women's Four

(Kendall Chase/Amelia Brunner/Sarah Klippel/Alana Bobka/

Jeremy Singer)

both crews won their events.

The Women's Varsity 8+ won a bronze medal in the

very last event of the day!

Mile High Rowers Headed to the World Indoor Rowing Championships

On Sunday February 14, 2010 four Mile High Rowers competed at the CRASH B's World Indoor Rowing Championships  In the Heavyweight Junior Women's Race Finishing 15th was Sophomore, Alana Bobka with a time of 7:30.9!  Finishing 21st with a time of 7:31.9 was Junior, Jordan Harshman!

In the Lightweight Junior Women's race finishing 67th was Sophomore Margo Calhoun with a time of 8:51.9!  Finishing 76th was Sophomore Morgan Ward with a time of 9:20.4! 

Congrats Ladies!
