Mile High Rowing Club: Colorado's Most Successful Youth Rowing Program
Our goal is to promote and encourage the growth and development of rowing through quality instruction and training programs for metro Denver area youth, ages 13-18.
We provide a healthy experience and atmosphere where student athletes can experience all the benefits rowing has to offer. Our programs are designed to bring out the best in each athlete in a fun, yet competitive environment.

2021 Spring Season
We are tentatively planning to start on March 6th. Registration should be open by February 21st. Please review the information under programs about practice times.
Absence Policy should also be reviewed. Email the absence email with known absences. Rowers who initiate those emails must copy a parent on them.
Wondering about U15, U17, etc.?
"U15: A competitor may compete in the U15 category until December 31 of the year of their 14th birthday.
● U17: A competitor may compete in the U17 category until December 31 of the year of their 16th birthday.
● U19: A competitor may compete in the U19 category until December 31 of the year of their 18th birthday." www.usrowing.org

The socks are back and they are GREEN! Our wish for 2021 is for the USA to be in the GREEN! Your socks are included with your entry fee.
One Regular Fee ($35) applied until 17 January for all the races you wish to do. Late fee is $45 per person. One week to complete as many as you wish (February 1-7, 2021)
We will have an Altitude Category (must be racing at 4,000 ft or higher) and a Sea Level Category for each event.
Registration will open November 23rd. Regular fees apply until January 17, 2021. Late fees ($45 total) will be charged starting January 18, 2021.

2020 Fall Season
Fall Season, it's a wrap! Well done, MHRC on making our Plan-Bs; Mask Wearing; Wet Launching; Social Distanced Boats; Virtual Races, Our own Rowing Triathlon; Everyone-Needs-to-Row-a-Single and Everyone-is-a-Coxswain season successful!
We also welcomed 4 new boats to our fleet... "Norma Jean", "Poppy Don", "Notorious" and "Chrissanthopoulos"
MHRC finished 4th (out of 163 teams) at the Virtual Head of the Schuylkill Regatta

2020 Summer Learn To Rows
Our 9th Learn-to-Row Camp ended on August 14th! Dates for the 2021 Camps will be posted in February 2021.
Gates, Collars, Foot Stretchers, Crabs? Come learn what these all mean. We are offering 9 different weeks in small groups in order to meet the local, state and USRowing requirements for keeping the participants safe during this unusual time. So bring your sense of humor and your patience as you learn to row.

2020 Spring Season, USRowing Youth Nationals
And like much of the country our Spring Season became one of the athletes training on their own at home!

Programs
We offer fall and spring rowing at Cherry Creek Reservoir and a winter training program as well. Summer Learn-To-Row Camps are available for new rowers.
